Catalogue printing (PDF)
Although it is possible to print any web page, the result is normally not very satisfactory, the pages will break in the middle of a paragraph etc. Therefore, we have included a pdf version where layout and page numbering is the same as for the printed catalogue version. The pdf version permits close-up zooming in drawings with full resolution. You can download the pdf files to your harddisk, to ensure that you have the most recent catalogue version on your laptop for example. The navigation tools found on the FlexLink DVD "The World of FlexLink" will not be available, though.
To download the chapter files one by one, just select the chapter name in the menu window. When only the chapter name is visible in the main window, klick on the print symbol to open the pdf file. Some chapters have more than 100 pages, so downloading is not recommended if you are on a modem. To save to the harddisk just click on the diskette symbol in the toolbar.
Since catalogue printout is best done using the pdf option, users should download the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader from the Adobe website. We recommend current users to upgrade to version 8.
Automatic translation
If you need to translate some text which is not available in your own language, why not try one of the many automatic translators available on the Internet. Just go to one of the links below and paste in your text, select the language combination and wait for the translation. The quality of the translation varies, but at least you will get an idea what the text is discussing. Maybe you will get a good laugh – some automatic translations can be quite funny!
